Clean Sweep by BLACKCAPS :-)

Its another victory for the Black Caps... A depraving loss for the Aussies...
3-0 whitewash by NZ or complete blackwash on the aussies....
Though the aussies were not fielding their main strike bowlers today, this should not take away the credit from the mighty Blackcaps who showed character eventhough they were missing the services of Bond and Vettori... Hayden rewrote the Australian record for the highest ODI score by an Australian, but it was the innings of McMillan and McCullum that made the difference. A dashing innings by McMillian and a rock solid innings from McCullum saw the kiwis romp back home in the last over of a thrilling encounter. Needing close to 8 runs an over in the last 5 overs, McCullum and Gillespie played the right cards at the right time.

And we should also note that, this is not the first time that the Aussies have lost after scoring 325+ runs in a match in the last few months. With Australia having played their last official ODI before the WC, they would definitely be not happy entering the WC with this mindset.

Lets hope that we get to see some nail biting finishes in the coming world cup :-)

Awesome match dude ! Kiwis coming back after losing 4 early wickets and Brendon Mcullum hitting Bracken for a Six and Four in the final over.Hope Men in Blue learn something from the Kiwis.

don't under estimate aussies. this is the kind of motivation they need to do well in the world cup. remember the 5-0 whitewash they did to england in the recent ashes. that was just because of the determination these people had to turn the cards to them from the previous ashes defeat. Also, remember the 1999 world cup how they won it. they were in a precarious condition that they needed to win 4 matches continously to win the cup and they did in style. they are the perfect example for the quote "When the going gets tough, only tough gets going"

Hi tsr,
I never underestimated the aussies. Every person will agree that they are the toughest team to beat on any given day. I just wanted to say that they would be a lil bit disappointed and worried abt their current form.

@ TSR - well Aussies are not impossible to beat. The English and Kiwi's have shown the way , it's for the Men In Blue and rest of the other teams to follow. If we make winning a habit then any team is easy to beat including the aussies.

@ Scene - The current form of aussies is way below what they are capable and with Brett Lee not to play , they'll struggle in this world cup.
